Product Description :HPMC Phthalate dissolves at pH 5-5.5 and this property can be controlled by varying the phthalyl content. Two grades of different pH solubility, HP-55 and HP-50, are available. The grade of HPMCP appropriate for a particular purpose should be selected in accordance with its properties and formulations.
Application :- Quicker solubility & higher bioavailability: HPMCP dissolves quicker at lower pH(pH 5.0 ~ 5.5 in MC llvain's buffer solution) than C – A – P or Acrylic Copolymers do, thus offering higher bioavailability of active ingredients.
- Non – sticking & non –thread drawing : PMCP is not a long chain (C – C) polymer unlike PVP or acrylic polymers. Its organic solutions therefore are practically tack – free / non sticking & do not induce thread – drawing during or after coating.
- Dust free rapid solubility : On specific request, we can supply dust ( fine powder ) free product for easy handling & quick dissolution.
- Aqua – coat based on hpmcp : We are working on shortly making available to industry very fine particle – sized grade which can be easily suspended in water containing plasticizer viz triacetin, triethyl citrate or diethyl tartarate. HPMCP can be used for coating replacing conventional solvent based coating.
